About Longshot Fibers
Our Story
Although they didn’t meet until later in life, Mary and Sunny walked similar paths before the creation of Longshot Fibers. While growing up in suburban neighborhoods in Virginia, they were dreaming of becoming farmers. They both moved to California to pursue careers in the medical and tech fields but started farming on the side. Never feeling like Cali was home, the two found their way back to Virginia and purchased farms in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. In 2021 they met, and their shared love of fiber and crafting inspired this business. What were the chances of finding each other? Well, it was a longshot!

Our mission at Longshot Fibers is to provide our customers with the best possible experience when shopping for knitting supplies. We aim to offer a wide range of high-quality yarns, needles, patterns, and accessories at competitive prices. Our customer service team is always available to answer any questions you may have.
Our Products
We offer fiber products for fiber artists and fiber lovers! From fiber related gifts to raw fleeces, natural colored and art inspired rovings and felted materials for the fiber lover in you or your loved one. We focus on fibers and plants grown on our farms in the beautiful Virginia countryside. We supplement our offerings with up-cycled materials to bring fun, flair, and ecological responsibility to our products.
